Kondagaon: Cash was being taken from Andhra Pradesh to Uttar Pradesh, two accused arrested, kept 80 lakhs in the chamber under the seat of the car, seized


Farasgaon / Kondagaon On the information received from the informer about illegal cash transport, the Farasgaon police put up a check post and interrogated a four-wheeler coming from Jagdalpur on Wednesday morning. On examination of the vehicle after the evasive answers given by the occupants of the vehicle, 80 lakh cash was recovered, kept in a yellow sack in the chamber made under the rear seat. In this regard, the driver of the vehicle, Bhagvar Patel, Mehsana and the conductor Jayesh Kumar resident of Patan, both residents of Gujarat could not produce valid documents. Police seized cash and vehicle from the possession of both the accused on suspicion of being stolen money and while registering a case in this case, arrested both the accused and sent them to jail on judicial remand from the court. According to information received from sources, this cash was being taken from Hyderabad to Uttar Pradesh via Bastar. Kondagaon SP Divyang Patel said that on the basis of the information, MCP was imposed. 80 lakh cash has been recovered from the suspect vehicle.
