Chowki Jalbandha Police got huge success in illegal liquor smuggling case. From the possession of the accused, 4 boxes of 192 pieces of country-made plain liquor, a total of 15360, were confiscated.
Alto car number CG 07 MB 5273 valuable 75000 seized used for transporting illegal liquor.
On 20.08.2022, under the guidance of Mr. Superintendent of Police, Mr. Rajnandgaon, Mr. Praful Thakur, Officer on Special Duty, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, Ms. Ankita Sharma, Mr. Additional Superintendent of Police, Mr. Akash Markam and Police Sub-Divisional Officer Mr. Dinesh Sinha, in-charge of Jalbandha and under the guidance of Mr. Dinesh Sinha Khairagarh. On the informer information by the staff, Dhamdha has been illegally transporting liquor from Chicha side from white color car number CG 07 MB 5273, on the information of which the accused Mahendra Rai father laid siege near village Potiya Bhothi Jha Rice Mill of staff and witness. Amarchand Rai age 21 years resident of Dargaon police station Dhamdha district Durg, from whom 4 boxes of liquor in Diggi behind the car of Alto car number CG 07 MB 5273, inside which desi plain liquor total 192 nos. 15360 and vehicle used in transport Alto car Serial No. CG 07 MB 5273 Precious 75000 Jumla Precious 90360 rupees by confiscating the witness in front of the police post Jalbandh crime no. 528/2022 Section 34(2) The offense of the Excise Act was registered. The accused was arrested. The accused were duly arrested and sent to the Hon'ble Court on judicial remand. In the above proceedings, ASI Munnalal Bhandekar, P.R. 917 Ashutosh Singh, P.R. 1620 Bhagwat Meshram, constable 1062 Nilkamal Sahu, constable 1400 Pushpendra Sahu, constable 1543 Lokesh Thakur constable 394 Sandeep Verma contributed significantly.
