Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu took a review meeting of the Home Department in the capital Raipur today.

Various topics related to different branches of the department were discussed in the meeting.


Raipur. 2022. In Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu took a review meeting of the Home Department today. In this meeting, the issues being faced by the departmental officers have also been discussed. What is the need of them at the government level, all these points have been discussed in detail. In this meeting, the statistics of crime were brainstormed, in which it was discussed with the officials on how to reduce it.


The Home Minister further said that there are about 10-15 branches, important meetings have been held with all the officials. All the officers in the department are working with promptness. Brain mapping was also discussed and it was also decided how to proceed on this. Even new jails are being built in Bilaspur and Raipur. Some sub-jails are also being made district jails. Almost 99% of the cases are being covered.


The Home Minister further said that the department has sufficient strength and is giving better performance. Only what better facilities can be given to them, that has been discussed in this meeting. New recruitments are being made continuously, due to which they will be deployed as and when required. Regarding crimes, the Home Minister said that the working hours are not fixed in the police because there is no time for crime. Our department is working continuously with diligence.


On the cases of cyber crimes, he said that cyber police stations have been opened at three or four places. This has also been discussed in detail, further cyber police stations will be opened in all the districts. Discussion was also held on the inclusion of cyber-savvy people in the department. Public awareness campaign is also being run continuously by the police department for the general public.
