The Excise Department confiscated the vehicle and released the accused on bond after being caught in the inter-state check post Salhewara Khadi along with the beer bottle of Madhya Pradesh.

Salhewara - On checking the vehicle by the Excise Department guards at the inter-state check post on the Salhewara-Chhattisgarh-Madhya Pradesh border,

the guards of the Excise Department caught two people riding in a red colored four wheeler along with 4 beer bottles of Madhya Pradesh. The accused were taking it by hiding under the seat. The vehicle was stopped and searched by the brave guards of the Excise Department.

Under the Excise Act, one person can take one bottle of liquor per one person by taking him to Khairagarh in his car, if more than one is found, the accused have been released on bond after driving the vehicle under the Excise Act 34/1.
