Union Home Minister's medal to 151 policemen for excellence in investigation

 

New Delhi: This time 151 policemen have been awarded the Union Home Minister's Medal 2022 for excellence in investigation by the Union Home Ministry. These 151 policemen included 15 policemen from CBI, 11 from Maharashtra, 10-10 from Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, 08-08 from Kerala, Rajasthan and West Bengal. Apart from this, policemen from other states have also been awarded the Home Minister's Medal of Excellence in Investigation. Officials said that out of these 151 policemen, 28 women police officers have also been awarded medals. Let us inform that this medal is being given from the year 2018 to the policemen who have shown honesty, devotion and extraordinary courage in work by setting high standards in the investigation of any crime. The purpose of this medal is to encourage the policemen. In the year 2018, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had started five Police Medals to encourage policemen. These include the Special Operations Medal, the Police Internal Security Service Medal, the Extraordinary Skills Medal, the Utkrisht and Ati Utkrisht Seva Medal and the Medal of Excellence in Investigation.




Three names of Chhag included




The Union Home Minister Seva Medal is awarded every year to police officers who have shown excellence in solving crimes across the country. This medal is awarded on the Independence Day. The list of names of officers who won this medal for the year 2022 has been released by the Union Home Ministry. The names of three police officers of Chhattisgarh are also included in this list. The first name of these is that of Sub Inspector Divya Sharma. The second name is of Additional SP Rajendra Jaiswal and the third name is of Inspector Dinesh Yadav.
