Kawardha Chhattisgarh:- The birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter and the first Home Minister of the country, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, was celebrated on 31 October as National Unity Day. Collector Shri Janmejay Mahobe administered the oath of national unity in a program organized at Swami Karpatri Ji Maharaj Stadium, Kawardha.

After this a race was organized giving the message of national unity. Municipality President Mr. Rishi Sharma, District Panchayat member Mr. Tukaram Chandravanshi, Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Umaid Singh, Additional Collector Mr. Inderjit Burman,
