Instructions were given by the Inspector General of Police regarding action on various points in the review meeting of the pending complaint letters in the districts and the pending letters issued by the senior office. Under this, the Inspector General of Police reviewed the complaint investigation report in the districts, reviewed the quality of the investigation by the Gazetted Officer posted in the District Police Office, and instructed to provide factual report to the senior office, saying that if the complaints are resolved on time, the public People's faith increases on the police and if the complaints are resolved on time at the police station level itself, then the public does not need the senior office. Instructing that there should be no unnecessary delay in disposal of pending letters, he said that the reply to the letters should be made available to the senior offices within the stipulated time, the responsibility of this was given to the Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarters posted in the District Police Office. During the meeting, regarding the preliminary process of the letters received in the offices, the Inspector General of Police explained to the gazetted officers present that due to the improper arrangement of marking and incoming and outgoing letters in some offices, the concerned branch could not receive the letters. There is a delay in receiving and preparing answers, for this he was directed to organize the inward-outward branch and to review it weekly by preparing a circular of letters in each branch. Along with this, instructions were given to keep in constant touch with the senior office for information about pending letters.
