Jashpur - Inspector General of Police Sir Surguja Range Ram Gopal Garg (I.P.S.) was on tour/stay in Jashpur district. During this, a surprise inspection of Police Office Jashpur, Police Station City Kotwali Jashpur, Protected Center Jashpur and Police Canteen was conducted by the Inspector General of Police. After this, a meeting of gazetted police officers and station/outpost in-charges was taken by him in the meeting hall of the police office. In this meeting, the IG was informed about the general information of the district by the Senior Superintendent of Police. During the meeting, Inspector General of Police Ram Gopal Garg, after taking introduction of police station/outpost in-charges, informed about the geographical location of their area, deployed forces and pending cases, gave instructions to resolve them in a time-bound manner. During the meeting, the Inspector General of Police emphasized on improving the image of the police in the general public and said that if any complainant/applicant comes to the police station with the information of any incident/accident or crime, he should be heard immediately, even if the matter is in another area. No matter what, according to the law, on the information of the crime, the case should be registered in zero and sent to the concerned police station for deliberation, this will establish a good relationship between the general public and the police. Apart from this, the IG also gave instructions to take strict action against those involved in illegal activities. Instructions were given to stop crime and criminals and to strengthen and strengthen basic policing, to solve chit fund cases including pending cases soon. He said that work actively in arresting the accused in chit fund cases. Apart from this, in the case of theft, embezzlement, arrest the accused seriously and arrest and recover 100% goods, women safety, community policing and awareness of traffic rules and necessary action to prevent road accidents. They should make people aware about cyber crime, as well as ensure the arrest of the accused by registering a quick case when cyber crime cases come to light. He said that the fear of the police should be visible among the criminals. No kind of negligence will be tolerated in the discharge of his post and work responsibilities. Inspector General of Police Sarguja said in the meeting that the work of police is to curb crimes and this is possible only when we discharge our duties with courage and honesty. For this, everyone will have to work with hard work and sensitivity in their respective fields. Along with strengthening the beat system of the police in the district, instructions were also given to make the information system effective. The beat officer and jawan of every police station will go to their beat and make public relations with the people and will be aware of their problems and will take information about each and every activity of the village. Along with this, police officers/employees of the beat area were directed to form WhatsApp groups along with villagers and police friends for quick information exchange. On the other hand, mutual harmony, cooperation and exchange of information between the border districts including peace system, arrest of criminals, prevention of illegal smuggling and exchange of information were discussed. Inspector General of Police Ram Gopal Garg did a surprise inspection of the interstate check post outpost Lodam. Superintendent of Police Jashpur was directed to suspend with immediate effect if outpost in-charge Lodam S.U.N.Abhash Minj was found negligent towards duty during the inspection. Along with this, he gave strict instructions to all the employees that negligence in work will not be tolerated at all. After this, the border villages of Jharkhand State, Majhatoli, Kondra, Mokra were visited and police outpost Arrah was inspected. During the inspection, the problems of the officers and employees present were heard by the IG sir and instructions were given to the concerned to solve them. After that, a surprise inspection was done of Kunkuri police station, during the inspection, the officers and employees were encouraged by rewarding them for encouraging good work.
