Ambikapur - Superintendent of Police, Surguja, Mrs. Bhavna Gupta (B.P.S.) today conducted a surprise inspection of Police Station Kotwali.
During the inspection, the SP instructed all the police officers of the police station to register immediate primary information reports in property related matters and to take immediate strict action on any kind of negligence in registering the reports, as well as with sensitivity from the complainants who came to the police station. The police officer employee was directed to behave. On the other hand, Superintendent of Police Surguja immediately attached the police line to the sub-inspector who was negligent in work and gave strict messages to all the officers and employees. During the inspection, the SP took information about the pending crimes, culling, warrant service, and the in-charge of the police station to take immediate action to resolve it, take continuous action on gambling and take active action for effective control in cases of theft, in the police station area. Guidelines were given for curbing criminal activities and for immediate arrest of absconding accused in various cases. Apart from this, during the surprise inspection, the police station in-charge Kotwali was directed to increase the cleanliness of the police station premises and the entertainment facilities for children in the Child Friend Room. In the inspection, additional police city superintendent Smriti Rajnala, station in-charge Kotwali sub-inspector Rupesh Narang, reader Ajit Mishra and all police officers/employees of Kotwali police station were involved.
