Three accused of embezzlement by getting the money sanctioned in a fake way, sent to jail

Janjgir Champa - The Janjgir police arrested and presented three accused of embezzlement by fraudulently getting sanctioned amount of seventy two lakh twenty seven thousand six hundred and ninety rupees in excess of eligibility in the amount received under the Right to Education Act, from where All the accused were sent to jail on judicial remand.

                         Disclosing this matter in the meeting room of the District Superintendent of Police, Additional Superintendent of Police, Mr. Anil Soni told that on 11th February in Thana Janjgir by District Education Officer, Janjgir-Champa, Hetram Som, director of Mayura Convent School, Baloda, Rajendra Maurya, Right to Education Section In-charge Shivanand Rathore, Assistant Grade-2 and Vikas Kumar Sahu, computer operator, a written application was submitted in connection with the registration of first information report against all three for embezzlement of the amount of right to education. On the report of the applicant, crime number 141/23 Section 420, 409, 34 Bhadvi was registered against the accused Shivanand Rathore, Rajendra Maurya and Vikas Sahu in Janjgir police station and taken into consideration. During the discussion, the statement of the applicant and the witness was taken and documents presented On the basis of allurement by Rajendra Maurya, director of Mayura Convent School Baloda, the then Right to Education section in-charge Shivanand Rathore, Assistant Grade-2 and Vikas Kumar Sahu, computer operator conspired under the Right to Education Act. Baloda's demand letter for 2019-20, by forgery in the amount mentioned in the demand letter, prepared a demand letter of Rs. I went. Under the Right to Education Act, in the session 2019-20, a total amount of seventy two lakh twenty seven thousand six hundred ninety rupees was found to be paid in the account of Mayura Convent School Baloda under the Right to Education Act. On which sections 467, 468, 471, 120 B Bhadvi were added in the case. The accused in the case, Rajendra Maurya, Shivanand Rathore and Vikas Kumar Sahu, were taken into police custody and accepted their crime after being interrogated psychologically. After the matter came to the knowledge of the department, thirty lakh rupees were returned by the accused Rajendra Maurya to the account of District Education Officer Janjgir-Champa out of the sanctioned amount. Fifteen thousand rupees were told to be in the account operated in the name of Mayura Convent School Baloda and the remaining amount was to be spent. During the investigation, after the accused accepted their crime and sufficient evidence was found against them, Rajendra Maurya resident of Lal Khadan Dheka police station Torwa district Bilaspur in front of Peeper Mill, Shivanand Rathor age 50 years, resident of Ward No. 19, behind IB Rest House, Janjgir And Vikas Kumar Sahu, aged 47 years, resident of Dipti Vihar, Janjgir, permanent address - village Sarkho Purena Para Chowki Naila, was duly arrested and presented in the court, from where all the accused were sent to jail on judicial remand. Inspector Lakhesh Kenwat, sub-inspector Badriprasad Tiwari, Sauni Lambodar Singh, head constable Rakesh Tiwari and constable Dilip Singh had a special contribution in arresting the accused and in the investigation proceedings.
