Under Operation Nijat, Ratanpur police continues continuous action, 01 accused arrested along with 140 liters of raw Mahua liquor

Ratanpur...... Continuous action of Ratanpur police continues under Operation Nijat against drugs being run by the Superintendent of Police in the district. Under this campaign, under the guidance of Mr. Additional Superintendent of Police Rural Rahul Dev Sharma and Sub-Divisional Officer (Police) Kota Siddharth Baghel, Police Station Ratanpur received informer information today on 06.03.2023 that a person kept a large quantity of liquor for sale in village Mohda. It is said that in order to take quick action on the information, the police station team seized 140 liters of raw Mahua liquor worth about Rs 14000 from the said person after raiding the said person's bari in village Mohda, and on asking the said person's name and address, his name was Ram. Avtar Kenwat's father Mr. Patiram Kenwat, age 40 years, who did not have any documents regarding possession of liquor, has been sent on judicial remand by proceeding against the accused under Section 34(2) of the Excise Act.
