Since the case appears to be of murder, the crime number-111/2022 section 302 has been taken up for investigation against the unknown accused. During the investigation, the team of police and cyber cell of police station Arjunda, living in village Bhalukonha at the scene of the incident, interrogated more than 300 people, on the basis of technical evidence, the suspects were being continuously monitored. Footage of more than 200 CCTV cameras falling on the way to reach district Durg Balod City and Bhalukonha was taken, and CCTV footage of the way of arrival of the suspects was also examined closely. With the help of police station Arjunda and cyber cell team, due to continuous efforts of 22 consecutive days, the number of Vikas Kumar Yadav of village Bhalukonha is suspected due to the long lasting time of incident date. After strictly interrogating Kumar Yadav, he accepted to cause the incident. Who told on interrogation that the deceased was in harmony with Sandhya Rajput, the accused used to repeatedly pressurize the accused to come home, if he did not come, he used to disturb her mentally. For the purpose of killing the deceased, the deceased Sandhya Rajput was looking at the mobile by lying in the terrace after entering the ceiling of the deceased from the wall behind the house of the deceased with the knife of cutting vegetables kept in her house and the wooden bench lying in the road outside the house. With the intention of killing the deceased, he killed the deceased by hitting him with a wooden bat on the head and slitting the throat of the deceased with a vegetable-cutting knife. The knife and wooden bet brought in was thrown on the side of the branch drain of Kharkhra canal drain, and the shirt worn at the time of crime was burnt on 29.07.22 at Gundardehi bus stand, on the wall side of the welding shop behind the bus stand. which was confiscated at the instance of the accused. The accused Vikas Kumar Yadav, father Gopichand Yadav, age 20 years, Sakin Bhalukonha, police station Arjunda, District Balod, was arrested and sent on judicial remand after the accused accepted the crime and found sufficient evidence of the accused.
