Mohla 22 December 2022. Collector Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki Mr. S. Jayawardhan and Superintendent of Police Mr. Y. Akshay reached Bumarka Tapu, a highly naxal-affected area of the district, via remote routes by bike. As per the instructions of the General Administration Department, a campaign has been launched towards the administration village under Good Governance Week. In the same sequence, Collector Mr. S. Jayawardhan inspected the government's schemes, especially health, education and nutrition, at the ground level in remote forest areas. Administration is working towards resolution of public grievances and providing better service to the general public under the campaign towards the village. Ramdulari, a Class 5 girl in the primary school of Bumarka, recited a lesson from a book and solved maths problems. He encouraged the children to study. In Sambalpur primary school, Collector and SP greeted the children by giving them chocolates and shaking hands and boosted their confidence.


Collector Mr. S. Jayawardhan inspected the under-construction Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. He said that with the construction of this road, the traffic in this area would be easy. He matched the weight of the children in the Anganwadi center with the group chart and instructed to refer two children to the Chirayu team. Collector was satisfied with the level of nutrition in Anganwadi centers, Bookmarka and Sambalpur. He gave instructions to reduce maternal mortality rate and infant mortality rate. It is noteworthy that the village Bookmarka is a solar-energized village. The collector gave instructions to test the quantity of iron in the drinking water in relation to electricity there. He asked the village headman to send the children to a hostel for higher education. He met the children of Korcha Hostel and got information related to subject-wise teaching of Class X including Mathematics, English. He said that there is a need to pay special attention to the nutrition of adolescent girls. Collector Mr. S. Jayawardhan reached the Election Training Center and took a meeting of Mitanins. He asked to speed up the survey and investigation work regarding TB, leprosy. He said that people are not coming forward due to ignorance and hesitation. Making them aware, sputum sample has to be taken. SDM Mr. Amit Nath Yogi, District CEO Mr. DD Mandalay, TI Mr. Nayak and other officers were present on the occasion.
