Farewell to ITBP A DIG involved in teak smuggling

Raipur. ITBP's DIG Chhotaram Jat, implicated in teak wood smuggling case, has taken compulsory retirement from the department. On the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the ITBP DG issued its order on June 16 and said that the application for compulsory retirement given by him after dismissal in the teak smuggling case is accepted. It is said that after being accused of teak smuggling, ITBP had given 15 days show cause notice as per rules. In the notice issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, DIG Chhota Ram Jat. It was told that he has been proposed to be fired. The DIG understood that if the department sacks, then there will be a disruption on the pension at the last minute, so VRS was taken.
